Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:12
Psalm 51 is a prayer of David to the Lord after he had sinned with Bathsheba, and had been confronted by the prophet Nathan. He humbly asks the Lord to restore the joy of his salvation - a restored relationship with the Lord. We are restored every single time we ask God to be the king of our hearts - and we have joy in knowing that we are at peace with God through Jesus Christ! What a wonderful promise - both joy and peace!
Praise God for three things that bring you joy!
Pray that God would protect our youth from depression, or anxiety - and would lead them to experience joy in their lives.
Pray that God would give more opportunities for mentoring and discipleship at CEC.
Pray that God would allow families to experience the joy of mended relationships.
Pray that our neighbors around CEC would come to know Jesus and experience His joy.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
