Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
This song reminds us that the battle is the Lord's. Whatever battle we are facing - He is with us. Sometimes we're supposed to stand still and watch the Lord in battle, and sometimes we're supposed to engage in the battle with Him at our side. It is through prayer that we know which we're supposed to do.
Praise God that He is with us and for us, our Immanuel.
Pray that God would reveal areas in your life where you are depending on your own strength for a battle.
Ask God for wisdom in whatever "battle" you face - whether to stand still or move forward.
Pray that God would give strength to hold fast to His hope in difficult times.
Pray that God would allow opportunities for us to hold out His hope in our families, workplaces and cities in clear and loving ways.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
