Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Just in case you ever wonder - what is God's will for my life? It seems pretty clear. If we get nothing else right, we can follow God's clearly articulated will - Rejoice always, pray continually, giving thanks in all circumstances. In difficulties, praying continually seems to come very easily - rejoicing & giving thanks - not so much.
Pray that God show us how to give thanks IN (not for) all things.
Pray that God would be made known in our community by the love seen at CEC.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring truth into all areas of our lives.
Pray that God would bring our hearts into alignment with His heart for our broken and fallen world.
Think back over God's work in your own life and thank Him for some specifically significant ways He has saved you.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
