Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. James 1:2-3
"Count it ALL joy".... such a hard thing to do. This verse reminds us that we can choose joy. We have to be on guard - the enemy is out to steal joy. Through our thoughts, anxieties, fears, worries. He will do anything he can to shift our focus - so that it becomes harder and harder to choose joy. We need Him to help us choose joy in the face of life in our broken world.
Praise God that He is the joy giver and that He helps us have the ability to choose joy.
Pray that God would grant safety to those traveling for Christmas break.
Pray that you would hear God's clear leading to serve Him this coming year.
Pray that God would continue to provide financially at CEC, and that He would give wisdom in stewarding what He provides.
Ask God to give you His perspective on situations that are "trials of various kinds" and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your prayer for those situations.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
