Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42:11
We hope because the reality is that every Christmas is not a "holly, jolly" Christmas. We are hardwired for hope. (Paul Tripp) We long to hear words of encouragement, of praise, of hope that there is something better coming. And we know that in all things, God is with us. He has promised He will never leave us or forsake us.
Praise God for His "God With Us" presence in your life.
Pray that God will cause CEC to be known as a place of hope in our community.
Pray that the Holy Spirit would inspire new ways to reach people in our cities with the good news of Jesus.
Pray that we would be hungry to know God more deeply, and to serve Him wholeheartedly.
Pray that we would be generous to others because God has been so generous with us, and that we would trust Him to care for us as we give generously in every way - finances, time, talents.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
