Finish 2019 with 40 days of prayer! Day 32

"Each time you intercede, be quiet first and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, of how He delights to hear Christ, of your place in Christ, and expect great things." Andrew Murray

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I love the message translation of John 1 - the word became flesh and "moved into the neighborhood." Love moves in. What a great visual - neighborhoods can be messy. Families can be messy. Any relationship where there are two people involved can be messy. Love came down into the messy because of a desire for restored relationship. Jesus paid the price for our relationship with God.

  • Praise God that He isn't afraid of the mess of this broken world.

  • Pray that God give strength and healing where it is needed - physically, relationally, spiritually, mentally.

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us to understand more deeply the great love of Jesus for us.

  • Pray that God allow us to know Him better in times of plenty and in times of need.

  • Pray that God would give vision for new ways for CEC to reach into our neighborhood and city in 2020.

Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
