Finish 2019 with 40 days of prayer! Day 31

“We serve a God who is waiting to hear from you, and He can’t wait to respond.”

Priscilla Shirer

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39

This week the focus of Advent is love. We all long to give and to receive love. It's part of being made in the image of God. And the love God has for us is beyond measure - unfathomable - especially when you take into account the fact that we can't fake Him out. He knows exactly who we are and loves us.

  • Praise God for His extravagant love for you!

  • Pray that CEC would be known in our community as a place that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ for all people especially in a time of so much divisiveness in our culture.

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring truth into all areas of our lives.

  • Pray that God would give courage and boldness to listen to people's stories as we reflect His compassion and grace.

  • Pray for specific ways to show the love of God to those in your family whom you might find it particularly difficult to love. Pray for any restoration that might need to happen.

Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
