Finish 2019 with 40 days of prayer! Day 21

“There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful than that of a continual conversation with God.” Brother Lawrence

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Praise and peace - somehow God brings peace when we choose to praise in the middle of the valley, in the midst of the storm. It is what He has promised to do - Jesus said He would give us peace not as the world gives because He is the Prince of Peace. We praise His name because He is our peace.

  • Praise God that His peace is not circumstantial, but permanent and trustworthy.

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit would show new ways to bring peace into your family in places where relationships have been strained.

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit would guard the spirit of peace and unity at CEC as we serve Jesus together as a church family.

  • Pray that God would continue to guide leaders with vision and insight as we head into 2020, showing how to best continue to live out the vision and values God has given us.

  • Pray for those in the neighborhood around our church building who need Jesus - ask for ways to tune into and meet needs for the sake of Jesus.

Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
