Worship Gathering FAQ's
How many people will be allowed in person?
In order to maintain social distance protocols in a sanctuary of our size, we have space for up to 50 people to join us in person for our worship gatherings on a Sunday morning
What social distance protocols will be observed?
Masks will be required to be worn indoors at all times for anyone 5 years and older who chooses to attend the in-person portion of our worship gathering
There will be two entrances to the building and one exit, clearly marked by signs and arrows.
Bathrooms will be limited to use by one person at a time
Sanitation stations will be available upon entrance to the building and entrance into the sanctuary
Drinks and snacks will not be served at this time
Kids and Adult classes and nursery care will not be available at this time
Seating will be separated by registered family and 6 feet of social distance will be observed with anyone who is not in your registered family for that Sunday
All surfaces and chairs used for the in person portion of the worship gathering will be sanitized before and after use for that particular Sunday’s worship gathering
How do I register for the in person portion of the worship gathering?
You must register in order to attend the in person gatherings. (If you have any symptoms listed by the CDC here (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html) you are asked to stay home and join us online for worship.)
Each Tuesday a registration link will be available via email, our website (evch.org) or by calling the church office (541-757-1755) and leaving a voicemail with your name and the number of people in your party for that particular Sunday.
Registration will close on Friday evening. If the number of registrations reaches a total of 50 people before Friday, the registration will be closed for that week.
You may only register for a worship gathering for that particular week.
How will seating be prepared for those who registered?
Seating will be prepared and pre-set before the worship gathering and clearly marked with your registration name. Upon entering the fellowship hall, please locate your seat(s) and go directly to your seating area. Ushers and greeters will be available to help you locate your seat(s) if needed.
Once you are in your seated area, please remain in your assigned space unless you need to step outside or use the restroom. Please help children in your group to stay in your designated seating area.
At the conclusion of the worship gathering you will be dismissed by sections. Please do not congregate in the sanctuary or fellowship hall. Please follow the arrows and exit the building at the designated exit.
