"God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved." ~ Ephesians 2:4-5
Jesus is here! We have been made alive because of His great love for us even though we are like Paul - the least deserving. When I realize that God knows the depths of my heart - my selfish ways, my self-centeredness, my "me-first" attitude - and he came anyway so that I could be in relationship to Him, it is hard to fathom. We could spend eternity pondering why. Why would the God of the universe want a relationship with me? Yet he does! What a wonder! How deep the Father's love for us!
Praise God that His character IS love - not only does He show love, but He IS love itself.
Pray that we would be spiritually, physically and mentally refreshed by spending time with Jesus each day.
Pray that the Holy Spirit guide us into His truth in every area of our lives.
Pray that CEC would continue a spirit of discipleship and mentorship to encourage spiritual growth.
Pray that we at CEC would be united by the love of and for Jesus.
Let's look with expectation for answers that God provides in these final days of 2019!
