LEADING LEADERS
A disciple continues to lead and serve with others, with the emphasis on teaching others how to do what he/she does, either serving or leading. There is an on-going desire to grow and know Christ better, and a continuing commitment to remain in Christ no matter what the cost.
A disciple:
- continues attitudes and practices that will deepen his/her love for God and other people.
- deepens basic spiritual disciplines. 1
- desires to be filled with the fullness of God. 2
- continues to develop Godly characteristics in his/her life.3
- learns to love others unconditionally. 4
- is able to train (nurture & encourage) others to lead in ministry
- teaches deeper spiritual truths to mature believers. 5
- helps prepare other leaders to lead or serve others. 6
- continues to live a life of ceaseless worship of and praise to God.7
- continues to demonstrate God's power in his/her life. 8
- performs assorted miracles according to the will of God. 9
- speaks the truth and power of Christ in boldness. 10
- sacrifices and endures all for God. 11
- looks forward to being with Christ in heaven. 12
REMAINS TO THE END
A disciple spends a lifetime in continued growth and ministry, with the goal of daily growing closer to God and becoming more like Jesus Christ. 13 He/she "remains" until he/she goes to be with the Lord !
