Ron Johnson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Ron has been serving at Corvallis Evangelical Church since 1988.  He has lived in the Corvallis community most of his life, and is very involved in our community.  He serves on the board of Friends of the Family Ministry.  His favorite hobby is fly-fishing.  His wife Wendy is a professor at Washington State University-Vancouver campus.  You can e-mail him at:

Dave Jackson, Associate Pastor

Pastor Dave currently provides leadership for the "disciplemaking process" that we are involved in here at Corvallis Evangelical.  He oversees our small groups, and helps to oversee the Bible Fellowships.  He and his family have lived in Corvallis since 1992.  His wife Patty is currently ministering at LOVE, Inc (in the name of Christ) as their Administrative Organizer.  They have three children.

Larry Ditgen, Worship Leader

Larry is our fun loving, fly-fishing worship leader, who serves our church family using his gift of music by organizing and leading in worship each week.  He provides a wonderful blend of contemporary music with familiar hymns.  He has served in this capacity for the past four years.

Kristin Knutson, Early Childhood Ministries

Kristin currently teaches and organizes teaching for our preschool age through first grade age children.  She and her family have lived in the Corvallis area for many years.  Kristin is also a home-schooling mom.  She has a heart to minister to the children in our church family and all children who may visit our church.

Lynn Larsen, Elementary Age Ministries

Lynn is new to our staff as of February 07.  Lynn oversees the 2nd - 5th grade ministries.  She organizes and administrates Sunday morning activities, as well as other field trips and service projects.  She and her husband Mike grew up here in Corvallis.  They have two children.  You can reach Lynn at :

Jason Klinkner, Youth Ministry

Jason is the "new" kid on the block.  He comes to our church family from Suburban Christian Church where he and his wife Olivia were involved with Youth Ministry as volunteers.  As the door opened for him at Corvallis Evangelical to come on as paid part time staff, he felt that is right where the Lord was leading, so on over he came.  Jason may look like just another big kid, but his background in Youth ministry, over 10 years, and formal education at Bible College, rounds out his experience and heart for the next generation. Say 'hello' to Jason if you see him - he's part of the family at EVCH.

Karen Callis, Administrative Assistant

Karen has served as the secretary for 4 years.  She has lived in Corvallis since 1981.  She and her husband, Jeff, have four children.  She enjoys scrapbooking and being with friends & family.  She also enjoys doing the sign language interpretation at church for her dad!
